This is an
electronic game but we don't know how to play it. When you
turn it on, it plays "Polly Wolly Doodle"
We don't have the instructions for it but a visitor
recently wrote to give us the name of it...thank you!
We were lucky enough to hear
from another visitor, Anouska, who had some memory of
playing this game when she had it as a child.
Perhaps it will help a visitor without instructions so
here is what she said:
"I thought I would
let you know what I remember about that electronic game,
as I used to own one about ten years ago (when I was 5).
The aim of the game was to dodge the rocks in the ocean,
while riding on the back of a dolphin. The large,
circular turquoise buttons moved Polly left and right.
The rocks moved towards you and you have to avoid them.
There were three lives, and the loss of a life was
indicated by a little icon at the top of the screen. The
top score was always shown at the top right corner of
the screen when you first turn it on, but disappeared
when you go into game mode. " |
