This set has been added for informational purposes.  It was produced by Mattel and Origin in 2000 and is a reproduction of the 1989 Bridesmaid Polly compact made by Bluebird Toys.  In addition to this set, we have seen reproductions of  the 1989 sets Bridesmaid Polly and 1990 Water Fun Park and 1993 Ballerina compact

Exterior:

Style:  Compact

Color:  Orange (See original)

Shape:  Square

Approximate Dimensions:  4" X 3.5" X 1.25"

Interior: 

Upper:  Dance floor, disc jockey booth, bedroom, and bathroom

Lower:   Party table and chairs and presents

Action:

• Front door opens
• Dance floor revolves
• Present opens

Dolls:

• Polly (#69), friend (#70) and bear  (A third doll came inside the pendant-see below)  Approximately the same size as original dolls   Dolls are not named on package.  The dolls do not have a date on the bottom.  They have "Origin" in relief

Additional Items:

• Set came with a dome pendant and a third doll (#71) inside

Notes:

• The impression on the bottom of the set is the same as the original, i.e., Bluebird 1989
